I had the privilege of meeting Sheila Nix who is the Chief of Staff to Dr. Jill Biden, Second Lady of the United States. She spoke at Young Women's Breast Health Day on the Hill in Washington DC, focusing on early detection and education for young women as it relates to their breast health. As a mother of two young daughters, Ms. Nix has made this subject a priority, even helping to host an annual event in the residence of the Vice President's office for breast cancer patients and survivors.
