Telling My Dense Breast Story

Advocating for women's health has become a huge part of my mission. I recently went down to DC to help in the effort to pass legislation, which would require radiology labs to tell their patients whether or not they have dense breast tissue. This issue hits too close to home for me since my breast cancer was not picked up in my mammogram due to dense breast tissue. I spoke to a group of young White House staffers to educate them on the issue. You'll be shocked to learn the facts.
