The Power of Support: Aimee's Story

In the hours following her breast cancer diagnosis, Aimee Bariteau took to the internet to research her fate in what she calls the "darkest hours of her breast cancer experience." When her husband arrived home she made a promise to never do that again. Instead, Aimee harnessed her fear into strength and has accomplished amazing strides in helping to pay it forward for others going through cancer.

Her work even landed her the honor of being named a "Model of Courage" by Ford Motor Company's Warriors in Pink program, dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and helping those affected by the disease. Stay tuned for more on Aimee and other "Models of Courage" here on ALIVE.
