My Evening With The Pink Pals at Their Tribute to Living Well Event

Last Thursday night I attended the Tribute to Living Well event that raises money for the Breast Cancer Living Well Fund in Portsmouth, NH. This wonderful fundraiser is put on each year by the Pink Pals from York Hospital in Maine to raise money that use to help women diagnosed with, undergoing treatment for, or recovering from breast cancer. Along with emergency assistance for women and their families who may be struggling financially during this time the fund also provides services, programs and products that center on the mind, body and well being and financial support for genetic testing and counseling.

Leslie Ware, one of the Pink Pal founders and friend of mine, announced yesterday that this years group raised over $157,000.00! What a huge success! 

I had such a wonderful time attending the Tribute To Living Well event this year, the crowd was incredible and everyone in attendance wanted to do everything they could to help women fighting the disease.
