A True Champion: Meet Shelby Adams

I met a true fighter when I met Shelby Marie Adams, one of the Breakaway from Cancer Champions at the Amgen Tour of California. Twice diagnosed, she has fought to help make insurance companies cover all types of medical regimens, and has lobbied for accelerated treatment for all patients. She also makes "chemo kits" for people entering chemotherapy who might not know what to expect. This is just one of the many amazing women I met out on the road!
