Advances in Imaging for Women With Dense Breasts

We are learning more and more about ancillary screening for breast cancer, like the ultrasound, which is what ultimately found my cancer due to having dense breast tissue. At the 32nd Annual Miami Breast Cancer Conference the convention center was filled with companies showcasing new technologies that are coming on line to help women with early detection of the disease and the treatments. GE had an imaging device that is especially helpful for women, like me, with dense breast tissue called the automated ultrasound.
